Brenda Wainman Goulet

Minerals and fossils continue to inspire many of Brenda’s' bronze and stone creations. This year she has created truly one of a kind jewellery in a new series combining her beloved bronze and intriguing ancient fossils.  Many bronze and stone sculptures are also on display in her bright lakeside gallery.  In the working studio, see how she transforms inspiration into reality.

During the Artists of the Limberlost weekend, Brenda may also be working on larger projects, such as the statues she has created throughout Muskoka (Tom Thomson in Huntsville, Dr. Norman Bethune in Gravenhurst), a process that interests many visitors.

Brenda is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design and has been sculpting for over two decades.  Her early years were spent in Algonquin Provincial Park and much of her sculpture reflects those roots.

Margaret Peter - mixed media
Margaret is a painter and printmaker whose interest in texture is reflected in her floral, landscape, and fossil images. Found objects such as feathers, shells, and fossils provide a starting point for images reflective of life in its transient state. Recently she has been adding collage to her original prints.

A retired teacher, Margaret has taught printmaking courses across Ontario and has won numerous awards for her art. She is represented by several galleries and works from her studios in Guelph and in Glen Williams ON.
