Brenda Wainman Goulet

Brenda Wainman Goulet

Most sadly, Brenda passed away in January 2018.  There will be a retrospective of her work, along with the work of her daughter Daniele and her close friend Janet, at Billie Bear Resort.

Brenda was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her early years were spent in Algonquin Provincial Park and much of her sculpture reflects those roots.

Over her 30 year career, Brenda created many bronze sculptures and bas-reliefs.  Her public installations of Dr. Norman Bethune and Tom Thomson in Bracebridge and Huntsville respectively are widely known and loved.  They remain living legacies of a great artist, mother and friend.

You may read a tribute to Brenda published on Huntsville Doppleronline HERE.
